Plymouth City Council presided over a series of shambles and mistakes in the 2017 General Election. Thanks to the mishandling of the election hundreds of people were denied their vote. This is not good enough. To help the Electoral Commission I am calling for members of the public who had difficulty voting in the 2017 General Election to send me their experiences so I can share a bulk submission of views with the Commission. I know some people have already sent views directly to the Electoral Commission. In my discussion with the Electoral Commission I made it clear that I would be happy to co-ordinate responses.
