Tories welcome Nigel Farage back for a VERY sinister reason

Nigel Farage has dropped a hint that he could rejoin the Conservative Party after he finally steps down as Ukip leader.
With Tory election fraud about to explode could Nigel Farage win back the seat he lost to the tories? and are the Tories ready to welcome him back with open arms so they can keep the South Thanet seat?

Nigel Farage to rejoin Tories?

He pointedly refused to rule out becoming a Tory again nearly 25 years after quitting the party over John Major's pro-EU policies, and would only say "let's see what happens".

In an interview with Sky News, Mr Farage was asked if he would like to rejoin the party he left in 1992.

He said: "Well no I'm not totally convinced that they're actually going to deliver. I mean, let's see what happens. I wish (Theresa) May well as Prime Minister, I really, genuinely do.

"My slight concern is that she was Home Secretary for six years, made a series of big promises and even bigger speeches about immigration numbers, and yet presided over almost record numbers coming to the country, so we'll have to wait to see what happens."

Mr Farage also took a fresh swipe at Mrs May for refusing to accept his offer to act as an intermediary between the UK and the incoming Trump administration in Washington - and argued the UK ambassador to the US should be sacked.

A spokeswoman for the Prime Minister yesterday said there was no room for "a third person" in the relationship between Mrs May and Donald Trump.

But Mr Farage said: "Can you imagine, if we were a business, and we were looking at Trump in America as somebody it was very important to form a close relationship with, what would you do? You'd find somebody that had connections.

"I do have connections with Trump, more particularly with Trump's team, many of whom I've known for years, and yet the Government don't want in any way to talk to me informally or do anything.

"And it says a lot actually about the way we're governed in this country. We are run by people who have never worked in the real world."

He added: "Anybody out there who has ever worked in the real world will be astonished by No 10's reaction."

Asked if he believed the UK ambassador to the US, Sir Kim Darroch, should be sacked, Mr Farage said: "I would have thought it’s obvious.

"He’s part of the old regime. He’s a fanatical Europhile... His worldview and the worldview of the Trump team are going to be diametrically opposed.

"I would have thought it would be more sensible to put someone there who is likely to get on with team Trump."

But he rejected the suggestion he could take up the role himself, insisting he was not "the ambassadorial type".
