RT crew comes under mortar fire near Damascus

RT correspondent Lizzie Phelan and her crew came under mortar fire close to the frontline in the town of Harasta near the Syrian capital, Damascus. The crew was on route from Harasta to Jobar to film there. No one was hurt.

According to Phelan, several mortar shells were fired in the direction of the crew while they stopped in the town to assess developments there before moving to the actual frontline town of Jobar. The journalists said they had been targeted deliberately, adding that it is not clear who was responsible.

Could it be The US responsible?
